Kareena Kapoor was born on September 21, 1980, and is also known as Kareena Kapoor Khan, an Indian actress appearing in Hindi films. She is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. Renowned for playing a variety of characters in a variety of film genres, from romantic comedies to crime series, Kapoor has received several awards, including six Filmfare Awards, and is one of Bollywoods most popular and best-paid actresses.
Kapoor attended Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai, followed by Welham Girls School in Dehradun. She attended the institution mainly to satisfy her mother, but later admitted to liking this experience. After graduating from Welham, she studied business for two years at Mithibai College in Vile Parle (Mumbai).
