Ayesha Saif and Junaid Safdar split up for what reasons?
Three years after their London, UK wedding, Junaid Safdar, the son of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, divorced his wife, Ayesha Saifur Rehman.
Junaid confirmed the breakup with his ex-wife by posting a confirmation on Instagram. Junaid wrote in an Instagram story to confirm the reports of his divorce as being true, “News about my divorce is true.” He continued, “This is an entirely private matter and I request the media to respect our privacy.”
On August 22, 2021, Junaid and Ayesha were united in marriage at an opulent celebration held at The Lanesborough, a posh hotel in Knightsbridge. Because they were not permitted to leave the country, his parents Maryam and Captain Safdar did not attend the wedding.
Junaid also added, “I pray that with this choice, we will find our people, Insha Allah. On this subject, I’ll stop talking now. I send Ayesha good thoughts.
After the announcement, Junaid deleted every image he had with his ex-wife from Instagram.
Ayesha is the child of Saifur Rahman Khan, a close friend and confidant of Nawaz Sharif who served as chairman of the Ehtesab Bureau during Nawaz’s second term as prime minister in 1997.
On December 14, the wedding reception took place in Islamabad, and on December 17, a valima was held in Lahore.
