Amnesty India has requested Indian authorities authorities to make sure that “bizarre Kashmiri ladies and men don’t face focused assaults, harassment and arbitrary arrests” as tensions simmer within the aftermath of final week’s assault in occupied Kashmir’s Pulwama space.
The Amnesty India press launch, issued on Tuesday, takes word of media experiences that “Kashmiri college college students and merchants in northern states, primarily Uttarakhand, Haryana and Bihar, have been overwhelmed, threatened, and intimidated by some Hindu nationalist teams.”
“Many college students are reported to have fled their universities in concern. Two schools in Dehradun and one in Moradabad have said that they won’t admit new Kashmiri college students,” Amnesty India famous.
