Maulana Tariq Jameel is a Pakistani religious Scholar, Television Islamic Preacher, religious writer, and member of Tablighi Jamat. Born in Mian Chunnu, Punjab, in 1953, he belongs to the Sahu subtribe of Chauhan Rajputs. Maulana has delivered religious sermons all over the world and is a member of the Deobandi school of thought. He is one of the most prominent advocates for inter-ethnic and inter-sectarian harmony. He was awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance Award in 2020.
